Steve & Yvonne - About Us
We're husband and wife, we met in the Pharmaceutical Industry in 1991 (we both have Biology Degrees) and married in 1996. After leaving behind a decade of corporate life a few years later, we've been working together in the Wedding Industry ever since. Steve is very lucky, and Yvonne is very very patient.
We love weddings, and the secret sauce that makes weddings really special is.... people. Our passion is looking for all the lovely little emotions and special moments that happen on a wedding day.
What do we mean by "real"? Well, when you watch your film you'll truly recognise yourselves, not that you acted out scenes under direction, but that every second of your day was genuine.
Watching it back, you will actually feel how you felt on the day. It's an amazingly powerful way to relive your wedding day.
Real?
We're really low key on the day, it's about you, your family and friends, it's not about us. You'll not find us shouting directions at you. Maybe a gentle nudge about the best light, but you'll never hear the words "Cut!", "Action!" or "Can you do it again
Relaxed
Fun. It's an essential part of a wedding, and we absolutely love to show it, from the nervous excitement of the morning preparations right through to the raucous dancing at night, there's fun and humour everywhere!
Soul. This is exactly why we prefer to be discreet and capture the real you, and not ask you to be something you're not.
It's the only way to create wedding films that show the real essence of you both, of you as individuals (as the day begins) and then you as a newly married couple. It's only through a relaxed, natural & real approach that we can capture this. It's a beautiful way to work.
