Knowing where to stand, when to let a quiet moment breathe, and when to get right into the thick of the dance floor.   It's our superpower and how we achieve our goal of creating natural, relaxed, and real wedding films.

Yvonne - Camera genius & Admin

Born and raised in Edinburgh, my path to filmmaking took a few scenic detours—from a Biology degree and corporate life (where I met Steve) to running a successful international wedding planning business. That planner’s instinct never left me; it just evolved. Today, I’m behind the camera and running Cherry Tree’s day-to-day world, ensuring everything runs seamlessly so our couples can simply be present. With 5 VOWS Customer Service Awards behind us, my priority is always the same: making sure you feel completely relaxed, looked after, and free to enjoy your day.

A Shropshire countryside upbringing, a Biology degree, and eight years in corporate life eventually gave way to what was always my real obsession: visual storytelling. Over twenty years later, that leap of faith has earned us 5 VOWS Awards, two UK-wide IOV titles, and countless celebrations captured across Scotland and beyond. For me, wedding filmmaking is all about rhythm, natural light, and the honest, unscripted moments you will want to relive forever.

What did you want to be aged 6?: A drayman (I was brought up in pubs! They delivered beer, what can I say!)
